Let’s Create Something AMAZING
What kismet timing for me to come to this clarity and share this update with you. Well, not really an update… just a more focused approach to supporting businesses.
As I recently shared many of my lessons from the past year, as part of my birthday month series, October hit and everything suddenly "clicked". This past week or so has continued to provide moments of clarity and focus as I continue to evolve my business.
Don't you love it when all the puzzle pieces start fitting together?
When I first dreamt up Equal People HR, my driving passion was to work with business leaders to give them the tools and resources big organizations have. To coach them through situations and empower them to make decisions that benefit both people and business. I KNOW happy people make happy business (!!) and I have been trying to find the best way to communicate and give back to managers in the most meaningful way. I’ve built resources, I coach managers, and I advocated strongly for employee experience.
My mission has not changed, it has become more focused.
As I look back at my experience in HR, there is a common theme: I enter organizations that had minimal HR support and process, and led them through the transformation process as I helped build strong HR teams and strong people programs. I believe my contribution to organizations is seeing opportunity to create processes within a company that achieve the outcome they are looking for, empowering the teams using these processes, and creating a positive experience along the way. That is where I will continue to focus and support businesses grow which is why my new focus is to help businesses optimize their HR processes to improve efficiency and performance.
The pillars of my approach center around these 3 principles:
Optimizing Processes to get the results you're looking for
Developing Communication Strategies to make sure new processes are effective and team is supported
Leadership Development so managers are prepared and supported
Most business problems come from a breakdown in people processes. Take a moment to ask yourself:
Are you spending too much time on administrative aspects of leadership?
Are you frequently repeating the same information to your team?
Are you noticing an increase in expenses with employees being away from work for long periods?
Are rising costs of employee turnover becoming a concern?
If you hesitated to any of these, it might be time to strengthen your people processes!
